Russ and Jan Burton, Co-Founders Born and raised in Omaha, Russ followed his father into the prosthetics industry in 1969. In 1974 he completed the Orthotics and Prosthetics certification program at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). He is an ABC (American Board for Certification) certified prosthetist. Russ and his wife, Jan, founded Burton Prosthetics in 2002. With her strong people skills and engaging personality, Jan runs the business side of the company and acts as our goodwill ambassador. The Burtons have two children and two grandchildren. |
